III.                Procedure:
A.      Preliminary Activities
1.       Review                                      
What is the effect of cigarette smoking to the lungs?
2.       Checking of assignment.
3.       Motivation
      One of our liquid waste is in the form of urine. It is excreted through the urinary system.
What are the major parts of the urinary system? Let’s find out.
B.      Presentation:
1.       Showing a diagram of the urinary system
2.       Asking pupils to identify the parts of the urinary system.
3.       Showing table 1.6 Parts of the Urinary system and Functions
4.       The pupils will be grouped into 4 and will work on the activity.
5.       Discussion-Parts and function of the parts of the urinary system
6.       Concept formation:
What are the major parts of the urinary system? What are the functions of each?
7.       Generalization:
What system is responsible in eliminating liquid waste or what we called urine? What are the parts of the urinary system?

C.      Application:
a.       Draw the urinary system and label the parts.
b.      Draw the kidney and label parts.

IV.                Evaluation:

Examine the drawing below. Each part is labelled with a letter. Write the part corresponding to each letter.

V.                  Assignment:

Answer the following question:
1.       How can you take good care of your urinary system?
2.       What foods are good for your urinary system?
3.       Why are salty foods not good to eat?
